About Us

In 2018, Dr. Chris and his wife Tiffany opened up Elevation Thermography. After years of sending people out to get scans done, they decided to add this as a service at their practice to serve their community.

At Elevation Thermography, we are dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized care with the most cutting-edge technologies available. By continuously evaluating and upgrading our services, we ensure that all patients receive the best treatment for their needs.

Breast health is incredibly important, and breast problems can develop silently before anything can be seen on a mammogram. Here at Elevation Thermography, we do not just deal with problems after they have formed, rather we use a preventive-health care approach.

What is Thermography?

Thermography is a unique and vital technology shown to be effective in uncovering hidden health issues. Approved by the FDA in 1982, it is an additional tool that doctors use to help determine breast health risks or other breast conditions. When combined with other tests, it gives your doctor an improved overall picture of breast health.

Breast thermography uses infra-red imaging technology to scan the breast and produces an incredibly detailed heat map. This can help detect new blood vessels that grow from tumors, hormonal imbalances, and other breast-health problems.

By actively looking through a set of infra-red heat goggles, a thermography scan can tell you how the breast is working and healing. The scan gives us the ability to see temperature differences between each individual breast tissue.

Why Thermography?

We have to change the conversation to monitoring breast health and not only look for sickness that already exists in the body. When choosing a thermography scan, you are choosing to be proactive about your health, not reactive.

The thermography procedure is simple, quick, and painless, so relax and know you are in expert hands. Studies show that an abnormal thermogram is the single most important marker of high risk for developing breast cancer, 10 times more significant than a family history of disease. Therefore, in the absence of other positive tests, the scan gives women an early warning that a pathological process may be occurring.

Breast thermography has been described as early adjunct breast cancer detection and has the ability to warn women up to 10 years before any other procedure that a problem may be forming; thus, allowing for prompt and timely treatment.

What is the difference between a Mammogram and Breast Thermography?

There is no smashing of the breast tissue in a thermography scan, no touch, no radiation, and it is non-invasive. Thermography uses no radiation and poses absolutely NO health risks to the patient. Consequently, scans may be performed at any frequency necessary. Signs of pre-cancerous tissue, or early-stage cancers that are too small to be found by physical examination and mammography, may be adjunctively discovered with thermography.

Difficulties in reading mammograms can occur in women who are on hormone replacement, nursing or have fibrocystic, large, dense, or enhanced breasts. These types of breast differences do not cause difficulties in reading thermograms.
